This Girl Can Fight
Personal Project
About The Brand
For this personal project, I created a series of posters for a campaign called This Girl Can Fight, aimed at challenging stereotypes around girls in combat sports. I developed a strong and consistent branding style for the campaign to make sure all the posters felt unified and recognizable. Each poster features an illustration of a different girl wrestling, highlighting the power, confidence, and determination that female athletes bring to the sport. The tagline "Fight Like a Girl? You Wish You Could." is featured across the designs, turning a common insult into a bold statement of pride and strength. Through this project, I wanted to empower young girls and help change the way society views women in sports, especially in disciplines traditionally dominated by men.
My Role
For this project, I was responsible for the illustration, branding, and overall design of the campaign materials. I created a unique visual style for This Girl Can Fight that tied the posters together through consistent colors, typography, and layout. I illustrated dynamic scenes of girls wrestling to bring energy and authenticity to the campaign, while designing the branding elements to reflect strength, confidence, and empowerment.
